The Ostro Plus Fleece offers a solution: worn alone, it provides warmth and repels moisture thanks to a PFC-free water-repellent treatment. When conditions turn windier, wetter or cooler, the Ostro Windproof is easily added on top for excellent weather protection.

• Zoned Nikwax Fleece fabrics provide optimised insulation, as side panels allow heat to dissipate, while high loft fleece is in key areas for insulation and water-repellency.

In what kind of weather conditions can I use my Ostro Plus Fleece?

Worn alone, the Ostro Plus Fleece protects against mist or drizzle and provides excellent insulation in cold conditions.

Combined with the Ostro Windproof, it will give excellent waterproof protection and additional protection for wetter or windier conditions.

It forms an effective midlayer for extra insulation under an Analogy waterproof in very cold conditions.

In less cold conditions, the Ostro Fleece provides a less insulating option, which can still be combined with the Ostro Windproof.

Which garments should I use with my Duology Fleece to get optimum performance?

Working closely with Nikwax, we have developed a pioneering PFC-free treatment for our fleeces, waterproofs and windproofs. Recent studies show that PFC’s are persistent in the environment and are damaging to human health; which is why Nikwax waterproofing solutions are water-based, use no harmful solvents or propellant gases, contain no damaging PFC’s and are not tested on animals.

Páramo waterproof garments, maintained correctly with Nikwax, will outperform membrane and coating-based waterproof systems. The durable fabrics and high quality components used in our garments contribute to their longevity.

Under the terms of our Lifetime Guarantee, any manufacturing defect will be rectified, free of charge, for the life of the garment. Any damage by accident or normal ‘wear and tear’ can be repaired by our workshop at a reasonable cost.
